The 2011 Atlantic Engineering Competition was held this past weekend of February 4th-6th by the Université de Moncton.  The event was received very positively by its many competitors from schools across the Atlantic province.  Between all of the time spent brainstorming, researching, building, debating and presenting, everyone involved was sure to enjoy the sights and sounds of Moncton.  Congratulations to the organizers, judges, spectators, sponsors competitors and any other involved parties. Atlantic Engineering Competition A Huge Success!

posted Apr 19, 2010 8:26 PM by Michael Wies   [ updated Apr 19, 2010 8:34 PM ]

The 2010 AEC was recently hosted by the University of New Brunswick and took place at the Delta Hotel, Fredericton (with the exception of Design competitions, which took place in Head Hall on the UNB Campus). Approximately 30 teams from across the atlantic provinces participated in Debate, Communications, Junior and Senior Design, Consulting and Innovation competitions. Between presentations, design building, planning, scheming, and a taste of the Fredericton night life on Saturday the weekend seemed to come and go in a blurr of engineering glory. For a complete set of results, Click Here!
1st and 2nd place in each competition have earned a spot at the Canadian Engineering Competition to be hosted by U of T, March 18-21.

The ACES website has been updated, renovated, improved slightly, and loaded with moderately interesting content! It is now ready for it's initial launch into the vast darkness that is the world wide web. The IT Director is continually seeking input from members and the general public (Including EXEC bio's!) as the site awaits the aces-caeeg.com domain name. Contact mike for input: m.wies@unb.ca
