Primary Objectives                                                                                                

The three primary objectives of ACES are to provide representation and professional development resources for, and to facilitate communication between, its member universities.
 
Communication
ACES shall endeavor to foster communication between all Atlantic engineering students and member Engineering Societies in order to facilitate the exchange of ideas and activities.
 
Representation
ACES shall represent all Atlantic engineering students and their Engineering Societies to various organizations in the engineering community, including Professional Associations and the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students, and to various industry institutions.
 
Professional Development
ACES shall contribute to the professional development of its members by ensuring the quality of academic education, stimulating job awareness, establishing links with industry and professional associations, and maintaining Atlantic engineering traditions.
